The Ferrari F1 Team chooses eyewear styles by Marcolin for 2010 F1 World Championship
The Ferrari F1 Team has chosen the official eyewear for the 2010 F1 World Championship. The Ferrari Marlboro Team is the testimonial of the campaign, featuring drivers Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa, as well as the Director of Gestione Sportiva, Stefano Domenicali.
The models chosen by the Team consist of a sunglass style, FR69 and a sight frame, FR5065. The sunglasses, particularly enveloping and aerodynamic, take their inspiration from the industrial design: the lightweight aluminium bar is adorned with large edge-to-edge lenses to guarantee total protection from peripheral light.
The colours are understated but exude personality. The polished black of the bar dominates, and is combined with a touch of red that colours the rubber-finish terminals. The branding is distinctive with the unmistakeable “Scuderia Ferrari” logo on the temple.
Minimalist and refined design for the sight frame (FR5065), with rounded lenses and shiny metal bridge. The model is particularly light thanks to the temples covered by a rubber-effect tube, strictly in red, that reveals a carbon fibre soul: a clear nod to the Ferrari world. The details are eye-catching, with a metal plaque at the end of the temples displaying the colours of the Italian flag.
The Ferrari Team eyewear are available at the Ferrari Stores, on the website www.ferrari.com and all best authorised opticians.
